Job Title: Fire Safety Data Control Officer

Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham
Job Location: B1 2JB/ Hybrid
Salary: £44,290 per annum
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Full Time
Closing Date: 27th September 2026
Interview Date: 6th & 7th October 2026

About the Role

As Fire Safety Data Control Officer, you will be responsible for helping to safeguard people`s lives and protecting property by using our fire safety data to ensure we carry out Fire Risk Assessments in line with our programme and complete any required actions in a timely manner.

You will use your fire safety knowledge and data analysis skills to turn information into insight, supporting business stakeholders to make decisions regarding the allocation of work and prioritisation of resources.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About You

You will understand the importance of prioritising customer safety and be able to influence and work collaboratively with internal departments to improve outcomes.

You will provide specialist fire safety advice to operational teams within the business. Therefore, you will need to hold a Level 4 certificate in Fire Safety or NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or equivalent qualification, to be able to Interpret technical advice and guidance from external contractors, fire engineers and FRA Assessors and translate into practical operational guidance for internal teams.

It is essential that you hold strong analytical and reporting skills and have experience of managing and reviewing fire safety data from multiple sources within the housing sector or customer service environment.
