We're currently recruiting an experienced Fire Safety Lead to join our Compliance team!

Leading our fire safety strategy, you'll provide expert leadership to ensure our customers' homes remain safe, compliant and effectively managed through robust risk management, statutory compliance and effective programme delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference, both across the organisation and for our customers by helping to keep their homes safe.

About us

We are a social housing landlord and one of the largest housing providers in the region with over 22,000 social and affordable homes, mainly in the Bradford district. We employ a talented workforce of nearly 1,000 people.

In 2024 we launched our five-year Corporate Strategy, which runs to 2029. Our purpose is to provide high quality homes, services, and support to our customers, so we've worked with colleagues and customers to find out what's important to them. Our customers sit at the heart of what we do, and our colleagues are the people who'll help us achieve our vision, which is to create the best customer experience to improve everyday lives.

Duties include:

  • Lead the delivery of fire safety across relevant properties, ensuring services are compliant, well governed and aligned to organisational priorities.
  • Manage fire safety programmes, contracts and specialist consultants to ensure works are delivered safely, effectively and to the required standard.
  • Oversee the identification, assessment and management of fire safety risks, with a clear focus on prevention, control and assurance.
  • Ensure robust processes are in place to identify and resolve non-compliance quickly.
  • Support the Head of Compliance to develop the service, strengthen assurance and embed a proactive property safety culture.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, regulators, partners and other stakeholders to support effective fire safety delivery.
  • Provide specialist fire safety advice and support to compliance, asset and investment colleagues across the business.
  • Produce accurate and timely fire safety compliance reporting for monthly, quarterly and governance requirements.
  • Foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture where achievements are recognised and continuous improvement is expected.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
