An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and forward-thinking Fire Safety Manager to lead and develop fire safety strategy across a large, complex, high-profile commercial estate. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers, employees, contractors, and visitors while driving a proactive fire safety culture throughout the organisation. You will have the opportunity to shape strategic fire safety initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and lead a dedicated team in a prestigious and fast-paced environment.

  • Leading and developing the Fire Safety Team
  • Managing fire safety compliance across a large and diverse estate
  • Overseeing fire risk assessments, audits, inspections, and compliance programmes
  • Investigating fire-related incidents and implementing corrective actions
  • Providing expert fire safety advice and guidance to operational, project, and event teams
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external authorities

You will be an experienced fire safety professional with a strong track record of operating within large, complex environments. You will possess excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, coupled with a passion for continuously improving safety standards.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree or diploma qualification in Fire Safety Management, Fire Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or equivalent professional body
  • Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, BS 9999, and Approved Document B
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Proven experience managing fire risk assessments and fire safety audits
  • The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
