The Role

As a Fire Safety Plan Administrator, you'll be responsible for producing and maintaining accurate fire safety plans and supporting documentation.

You'll prepare building plans for surveys and convert assessor-marked drawings into simplified, easy-to-read layouts.

These plans provide important building information and must be clear, accurate, professional, and practical to use during an emergency.

You'll manage projects through the full production process, from preparing plans for assessment through to issuing digital and printed plan sets to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create building layouts, vertical schematics, aerial schematics, and on-arrival sheets for Fire Safety Plans
  • Organise and prepare building plans for fire risk assessors ahead of site surveys
  • Convert assessor-marked plans into clear and simplified fire safety layouts
  • Ensure critical building and fire safety information is displayed clearly for emergency responders
  • Produce plans using graphic design software such as Affinity Designer or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ensure completed plans are accurate, consistent, professional, and compliant with company standards
  • Deliver digital fire safety plans to customers
  • Manage customer amendments, revisions, and plan updates
  • Produce printed plan sets and coordinate their distribution and delivery to customer sites
  • Maintain organised customer, building, and project files
  • Ensure assessor plans, revisions, correspondence, and completed projects are stored accurately
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met
  • Liaise with assessors, customers, and project teams to clarify information and resolve discrepancies
  • Provide professional customer service by telephone, email, and face-to-face where required
  • Help maintain and improve company templates, plan standards, and production processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
