About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field service team. You'll ensure effective delivery of PPM, Reactive calls, and additional Small Works, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of Fire alarms, CCTV, Access control, and Intruder alarm/associated equipment and products to the relevant legislative and qualitative standards.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and records in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, alongside basic Microsoft Word and Excel literacy.
- Work to high levels of Health and Safety Requirements.
- Have previous experience in a similar role carrying out PPM, reactive calls, and Small Works in the Fire & Security Systems industry.
- Service test and inspection experience to the relevant standards/codes including fault-finding techniques.
- Actively attend and participate in any company-initiated training to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technical aspects of the role.

Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience with PPM, Accident Reporting, or RAMS, alongside following Health and Safety Legislation, preferably in the engineering field.
- Share technical and problem-solving abilities and knowledge with colleagues.
- Ability to take initiative and work with little supervision.
