Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fire & Security Engineer located in the Greater Manchester Area. The Fire & Security Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm, detection, and suppression systems, as well as integrated security solutions such as access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection. Regular tasks include conducting inspections, compliance testing, diagnosing and resolving system faults, and ensuring that all systems meet regulatory standards. The role may also involve providing technical expertise and support on fire-risk assessments and project implementation.

Qualifications

  • Application Security and Information Security skills
  • Proficiency in Security Engineering
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical system issues
  • Familiarity with fire-safety regulatory standards such as BS 5839
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Experience in fire and security systems is highly desirable
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire-safety or security systems are a plus
