Founded in 1996, Independent Testing Company Limited (ITC) began by delivering essential electrical testing services to the many pit villages surrounding our base in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. From those strong local roots, we’ve grown into a trusted national contractor, now proudly servicing clients across the UK. We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer / Electrician to join our expanding team. If you have experience installing, servicing and maintaining CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control, GDX Systems and Fire Alarm Systems, we'd like to hear from you. Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Installation and fault finding on Door Entry & Access Control Systems.
- Installation, commissioning and maintenance of GDX Systems.
- Installation and servicing of CCTV Systems (IP & Analogue).
- Installation, testing and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs quickly and effectively.
- Complete service reports and job documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service on every project.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical and fire safety regulations.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Experience with:
- Door Entry Systems
- Access Control
- GDX Systems
- CCTV Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Experience with commercial, residential and local authority projects
