Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Fire & Security Engineer role based in Inverness. The Fire & Security Engineer will install, commission, service, and maintain fire alarm and security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and related equipment. Typical tasks include:

The role also involves responding to call-outs, supporting customers with technical queries, and working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality, safe, and reliable solutions on every job.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in installing, commissioning, servicing, and maintaining fire alarm, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant fire and security regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in fault-finding, problem-solving, and using appropriate tools and test equipment.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach when working on-site and handling service visits.
- Good time management, planning, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally for installations, maintenance, and call-outs.
- Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in electrical, fire, or security systems engineering; previous experience in a similar role is highly beneficial.
