About the role
We are proud to announce that one of our valued clients, who are a leading Fire & Security company, are now looking to recruit 2 experienced Fire & Security Engineers due to their continued growth and expansion. They're a highly established, BAFE-accredited provider of Fire Protection and Security systems with over 30 years of industry experience resulting in them amassing an outstanding reputation for delivering high quality solutions to a prestigious customer base and are now seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to join their growing team inside the M25.
Key responsibilities
- Install, commission, service and repair intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems
- Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive works with a high first time fix rate
- Communicate effectively with admin, sales and operations teams to support efficient scheduling
- Upload documentation, certificates, photos and job notes using the job management systems
- Work on various Conventional & Addressable fire systems
- Maintain accurate van stock, tools and overall vehicle condition
- Participate in the call out rota and provide occasional remote support
- Identify recurring faults or design issues and contribute to continuous improvement

Skills and experience required
Essential:
- Experience in Installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of Fire and Security Systems for an NSI & BAFE registered company
- Competent in the Installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of Fire, Access control systems, Intruder alarms and CCTV systems.
- Competent on Conventional & Addressable fire systems including Advanced, Kentec, Ctec, Morley, Gent, Notifier Vesda etc.
- Experience in the use associated fire and security software.
- Experience with intruder alarms with key experience in Galaxy, Texecom, Eaton etc.
- Experience with IP CCTV systems with key experience in Hikvision, Dahua, Axis and Avigilon etc.
- Experience with Access control systems with key experience in Paxton, ACT Vanderbilt, Grosvenor etc.
- Experience with emergency lighting.
- Must have working knowledge and experience of the current British Standards for fire systems, Intruder alarms, Access control and CCTV.

- Qualifications/Experience in BS5839, BS50131, PD6662, BS60839, NCP109, BS8418, BS6276, NCP104 and BS5266/FIA Units preferable
