Job Brief
Fuzion 4 has opportunities for enthusiastic Fire & Security Installation Technicians to become part of our growing team. As part of our team, you will receive ongoing training, support, and development. We have great opportunities to help install and maintain work for our existing and new client base. Opportunities in the domestic and commercial sectors with the provision of a wide range of fire & security services.
The role requires an experienced, flexible, and highly motivated individual who is capable of working under their own initiative and as part of a team.
Contractual Information
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm with a 30-minute unpaid break for lunch
- Standby Duties: Paid weekly retainer plus paid call outs. One in every eight, subject to the number of technicians.
- Salary: £35,000 – £37,000
- Sign-on Bonus: 10% of the annual salary (5% after successful completion of 3-month probation, further 2.5% after 6-months, and remaining 2.5% after 1-year).

You will receive 23 days of paid holiday plus all UK statutory Bank Holidays, which increases with time served. You will also be auto-enrolled onto the workplace pension scheme after successful completion of a 3-month probation, which you can opt out of should you choose.

Experience
The candidate should have 5 years of solid installation background and should:
- Be able to identify and rectify faults across all disciplines
- Have experience in industrial, commercial, and domestic installations & maintenance
- Have a comprehensive knowledge base of multiple manufacturers' equipment
- Have basic IT skills: MS Word, MS Outlook
Skills & Competencies Required (Technical & Practical Experience)
- Commercial, industrial, and domestic installations of varying sizes
- Ability to install systems on all areas of fire & security to the relevant industry standards (BAFE and NSI Gold)
- Experience working with the following systems:
- Hikvision
- Paxton
- Scantronic
- Texecom
- Galaxy
- Morley/Kentec Fire
- Nurse Call Systems

The ability to compile comprehensive installation documents will be essential in this role. An understanding of electronic devices (mobile phone and tablet) will also be required for document completion and submission.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- ECS Card (with at least 6 months remaining)
- 5 years experience in the Fire & Security industry
Non-Essential
- IP knowledge
- Qualified in Fire Extinguisher installation & servicing
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Asbestos Awareness
