Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Fire & Security Sales Manager role based in Aberdeen. The Fire & Security Sales Manager will oversee sales activities for fire and security systems, from identifying new business opportunities to managing existing client accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves working closely with technical and installation teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and comply with relevant standards. The Fire & Security Sales Manager will also:

  • Monitor market trends
  • Contribute to sales strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of sales pipelines and performance

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in fire and/or security system sales, with strong skills in consultative selling and account management.
  • Proficiency in developing proposals, pricing solutions, and negotiating commercial terms with business clients.
  • Knowledge of fire safety and security products, systems, and relevant regulations or industry standards.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging decision-makers.
  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including pipeline management and accurate reporting.
  • Capacity to work independently on-site, using sound judgment to prioritize tasks and meet sales targets.
  • Experience in the Aberdeen or wider Scottish business environment is an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
  • Background in sales, business, engineering, or a related field; formal training or certification in fire or security systems is beneficial.
