Job Title: Fire / Smoke Commissioning Engineer
Location: Enfield, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £30k - £45k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a leading name within the Ventilation / Fire Safety industry, who have recently grown their presence in the South East of England. They are recruiting for a knowledgeable and hardworking Fire / Smoke Commissioning Engineer, who is able to work independently on site and will be able to hit the ground running. You will be responsible for installing fire safety systems and associated components, ensuring full compliance and functionality. Ideally, candidates must have experience within the fire alarm, fire damper and / or ventilation industry. Our client is able to offer competitive salaries and benefits packages for the successful candidate.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Fire / Smoke Commissioning Engineer
- Ideally will hold electrical experience and qualifications, (i.e. 18th Edition)
- Excellent industry technical knowledge, including: BS9999 guidelines
- Adaptable to client travel requirements
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Able to work independently on site
The Role:
- Installing and commissioning fire dampers, smoke dampers, fire alarms and associated components
- Inspecting existing systems to highlight any faults / performance issues
- Maintenance and commissioning of fan coil units
- Commissioning and installing control systems / control panels
- Performing routine maintenance and servicing as required
- Making appropriate recommendations to clients for remedial works
- Keeping accurate logs of works completed
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
