Fire Suppression Estimator
Location: UK Remote / Hybrid
What You Will Do
At Johnson Controls, we help customers protect people, property, and critical infrastructure through industry-leading fire suppression solutions. We are seeking an experienced Fire Suppression Estimator to support projects across the UK, ranging from £200k to £30m in value.
Working remotely or in a hybrid capacity, you will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and customers to develop compliant, cost-effective fire protection solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile data centre, industrial, and commercial projects while supporting business growth and project success.

How You Will Do It
- Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to develop compliant and commercially competitive fire suppression solutions.
- Produce outline system designs using AutoCAD.
- Complete hydraulic calculations using FireCad (training provided where required).
- Prepare detailed tenders, quotations, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Review customer requirements, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the bid process.
- Apply relevant industry standards including LPCB, NFPA, FM, and BS EN 12845.
- Support the Sales team in securing new business opportunities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and estimating best practices.
- Provide support to the Lead Estimator and act as deputy when required.
What We Are Looking For
Required
- Experience within fire sprinkler, fire suppression, design, or estimating environments.
- Strong AutoCAD knowledge and experience.
- Understanding of fire protection industry standards such as LPCB, NFPA, FM, and/or BS EN 12845.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

- Experience using FireCad or similar hydraulic calculation software.
- Previous experience estimating large-scale data centre, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Knowledge of fixed fire suppression systems and associated technologies.
- Experience supporting projects valued from £200k to £30m.
