Job Description:
Site Based Fire Test Engineer ( Full Time)

The successful candidate would ideally have a good knowledge of fire dynamics and fire engineering principles or from any of the following engineering (Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Engineering Management), or science background. Knowledge of the British Building Regulations, Responsible for facilitating and managing assigned project(s), and monitoring the progress. Graduates are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher plus three years’ experience in managing projects and supervision. Must be able to evaluate project request, monitor progress, delegate and prioritize tasks.

Essential Skills
- Undergraduate degree of any engineering or science discipline is welcome to apply, engineering technician's background are also welcome to apply
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Experience of developing and delivering an excellent service with the customers
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- Willing to learn
- Site-based experience
Desirable Skills
- Good knowledge of planning process and delivery of the project(s) objectives
- Good Knowledge building regulation Eurocode
- A desirable understanding of fire dynamics and basic fire engineering principles
- The ideal candidate would hold a Postgraduate degree in Fire Safety Engineering, or similar engineering discipline (Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering)
- Knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance as well as international guidance documents
