š¢ WEāRE RECRUITING: FIRST AID TRAINER & INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURER (IQA) Fionitaās Project CIC | London / Flexible
Fionitaās Project CIC is expanding its first aid and community health work and is currently working towards becoming an approved Qualsafe Awards Centre.
As part of our centre approval and future training delivery, we are looking for two qualified professionals to join us:
1ļøā£ FIRST AID TRAINER
Essential qualifications and experience:
- A relevant regulated First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification or appropriate equivalent vocational qualification
- A recognised teaching and assessing qualification, such as Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), PTLLS, or equivalent
- At least 36 hours of first aid teaching experience within the last 3 years ā equivalent to approximately two First Aid at Work courses
- Evidence/log of recent first aid teaching experience
- Ability to provide copies of relevant qualifications and complete the Qualsafe Awards Trainer application/registration requirements
- Strong communication, facilitation and learner-engagement skills

Essential qualifications and experience:
- A relevant vocational qualification in the subject area being quality assured
- A recognised Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification, or eligibility to meet Qualsafe Awards requirements through an approved Qualsafe IQA CPD route
- Knowledge and/or experience of internal quality assurance within regulated training
- Ability to review assessment and training standards, maintain appropriate quality records and support standardisation
- Ability to provide evidence of relevant qualifications and complete the Qualsafe Awards IQA application/registration requirements
ā ļø Please note: these are two separate positions. The First Aid Trainer and IQA cannot be the same person for our centre approval.
The opportunity
Both positions will initially be voluntary during our Qualsafe Awards centre development and approval stage.
Our intention is for successful candidates to move into paid contract/sessional opportunities as the centre becomes operational and training delivery develops.
During the initial stage, you will work with Fionitaās Project to support the relevant elements of our Qualsafe Awards centre application, registration and preparation for training delivery.
