About The Role
We are seeking a highly organised, caring and proactive First Aider & Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated support team. This is a varied and rewarding role, combining responsibility for the school's first aid provision with a wide range of administrative and reception duties.
As the first point of contact for first aid matters, you will play a vital role in supporting the health, wellbeing and safety of our students. Alongside this, you will provide effective administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the academy.
As First Aider & Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-quality first aid and welfare support to students, ensuring accurate medical records are maintained and appropriate care is delivered throughout the school day. Alongside your first aid responsibilities, you will play an important role within the academy's administration team, supporting reception services, responding to enquiries from parents and visitors, maintaining records and databases, and carrying out a range of administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the school. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a professional, approachable manner when dealing with students, staff and external stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administration and organisational abilities
- Good ICT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience of first aid, administration or clerical work
- Experience of delivering first aid to children and/or adults
- Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively
- A professional, calm and friendly approach, particularly under pressure
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
