Senior Actuary Opportunity at a Growing Lloyd’s Business
A growing Lloyd’s business is looking to hire its first in-house Senior Actuary as it starts bringing the actuarial function in-house.
Currently writing a sizeable £ of premium, the business has ambitious growth plans and a longer-term ambition to establish its own Managing Agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking increasing ownership of reserving from the outsourced Managing Agent, including:
- Working directly with the CEO, Board, and Managing Agent
- Owning reserving across the business, building out processes and models
- Producing and defending your own actuarial views
- Working closely with underwriting and pricing
- Exposure to capital as this is brought in-house

Requirements:
The team is seeking a qualified actuary with strong Lloyd’s/London Market reserving/mixed experience (6+ years).
