Company Description

Icelantic is an IT services company established in 2000 to support small and medium-sized enterprises in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The company focuses on businesses that need reliable, secure, and high-performance IT systems without maintaining a large in-house IT team. Icelantic provides support for environments ranging from single stand-alone PCs to complex multi-user corporate systems. The team aims to keep clients’ systems running smoothly and intuitively, offering best-practice advice when expansion is needed. This approach allows customers to concentrate on their core business goals while Icelantic manages their IT infrastructure.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site First Line IT Support role based in the Greater Edinburgh Area. The role involves acting as the first point of contact for IT issues, logging and triaging support requests, and providing initial diagnosis and resolution for hardware, software, and network problems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
