🚨 First Line Service Desk Engineer (MSP) 🚨

📍 Remote-first – UK Based

🏢 Future hybrid working – Central London

💰 Competitive salary + progression

📈 Clear route into 2nd Line / Projects / Team Lead

I’m working with a small, fast-growing Managed Service Provider who are looking to add an experienced First Line Service Desk Engineer to their team.

This isn’t a role where you’ll spend all day resetting passwords and escalating tickets. You’ll be joining a senior-heavy technical team, taking ownership of inbound support tickets while getting hands-on exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune, Google Workspace, Mac environments, and modern cloud-first infrastructure.

As the business grows, they want this person to grow with them – initially becoming a strong point of contact across the service desk before progressing towards 2nd Line, project work, and potentially team leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience with Intune, Conditional Access, Google Workspace, Mac support, Jamf/Kandji/JumpCloud, or VoIP would be a bonus, but isn't essential.

The biggest thing they're looking for is attitude and ambition.

They want someone who takes ownership of problems, enjoys speaking with customers, wants more responsibility, and is genuinely interested in developing technically.

You'll also be joining at an early enough stage to have real influence over how the service desk develops as the business continues to grow.
