Role: Systems Engineer (1st Line Support)
Location: Liverpool Street
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
If you are looking to build a career in IT support within a high-performance, client-facing environment, this is an opportunity will allow you to join a growing technology services team supporting high profile financial clients, where service quality and technical development are at the core of everything.
The Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for technical support, working closely with end users including senior stakeholders. This is a fast-paced, service-driven environment where you’ll build strong client relationships while developing your technical expertise.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing 1st line support via a busy service desk
- Troubleshooting desktop, server, and user issues
- Managing incidents through to resolution and ensuring high user satisfaction
- Supporting business-critical systems and infrastructure remotely
- Logging and coordinating issues with third-party providers
- Carrying out daily operational checks and maintenance tasks
- Contributing to a strong culture of documentation and continuous improvement
- Participating in on-call and occasional out-of-hours support rota

Tech Environment
- Windows Desktop & Server environments
- Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange
- Citrix, basic networking (Cisco), ITIL-aligned processes
- Exposure to O365, VMware, PowerShell, and security best practices is beneficial
