About Cofton Holidays
Set along the stunning South Devon coastline, Cofton Holidays is an award-winning, family-run holiday park with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Our leisure facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a modern gym, a dedicated indoor cycling studio, and a popular programme of fitness and wellbeing classes enjoyed by both holiday guests and local members.
We're looking for a self-employed Fitness Class Instructor to join us on Wednesdays, delivering engaging and professional classes that inspire participants of all ages and abilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established instructor looking to add regular weekly classes to their timetable, with the potential for additional work providing holiday cover throughout the year.
The Opportunity
As a self-employed instructor, you'll have the freedom to bring your own style, energy, and expertise to our fitness programme while becoming part of a friendly and supportive leisure team.
You Will Deliver
- One Pilates class (essential)
- One additional fitness class, such as:
- Spin
- Legs, Bums & Tums (LBT)
- Cardio Circuits
- Boxing Fitness
- Aquafit
- Or another suitable group exercise format

All classes take place on Wednesdays throughout the year, with opportunities to provide cover for additional classes during holidays and instructor absences.
What You'll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering safe, engaging, and effective group exercise classes
- Creating a welcoming and motivating environment for participants
- Adapting sessions to suit a range of fitness levels and abilities
- Encouraging members and guests to achieve their fitness goals
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service
- Managing your own insurance and relevant instructor qualifications as a self-employed professional
About You
You'll be a passionate fitness professional who enjoys helping people feel confident, healthy, and motivated.
You'll Have

- The ability to motivate and engage a wide range of participants
- Confidence in delivering classes independently
- A reliable and flexible attitude
Qualifications & Requirements

Essential
- Qualified Pilates Instructor
- Appropriate fitness instructor qualification (Level 2 or equivalent)
- Public Liability Insurance
- Self-employed status
Desirable
- REPs/CIMSPA recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- ETM Level 2 qualification
- Experience delivering multiple group exercise formats
