Part-Time Fitness Coach / Personal Trainer
Spark Health & Fitness – Low Fell, Gateshead
£17.78 per hour
Approximately 9 hours per week

Spark Health & Fitness is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Fitness Coach / Personal Trainer to join our team in Low Fell.
Regular hours:
- Monday: 6:45pm–9:00pm
- Tuesday: 5:45pm–8:00pm
- Wednesday: 6:45pm–9:00pm
- Thursday: 6:45pm–9:00pm
The role involves delivering a mixture of established group fitness sessions, preparing equipment before sessions, welcoming and signing in members, and resetting the gym afterwards.

Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering safe, engaging group fitness sessions
- Preparing and setting up sessions
- Welcoming and supporting members
- Adapting exercises for different abilities
- Maintaining a safe and welcoming training environment
- Resetting equipment following sessions
Essential:
- Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification
Highly desirable:
- Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification
- Previous group coaching experience
We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable, reliable, and confident leading group sessions. The successful applicant should enjoy working with people of different ages and fitness levels and be able to bring energy and personality to their coaching.
