We are seeking a passionate and motivating Fitness Coach to join our wellbeing team at The Willowbury, West Malling. This is a part-time role working 12 hours per week.

Working within our retirement village community, you will support residents to remain active, independent and confident by delivering safe, engaging and personalised fitness programmes across our Hydrotherapy Pool, E-Gym and Fitness Studio.

Working closely with the Wellbeing Manager, you will play a key role in improving mobility, strength, balance and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver group classes and one-to-one exercise sessions tailored to varying abilities
  • Conduct fitness assessments and design personalised programmes
  • Monitor progress and support residents to achieve realistic health goals
  • Ensure safe and effective use of gym and hydrotherapy equipment
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety and safeguarding
  • Support wellbeing events, education sessions and community engagement
  • Collaborate with village teams to promote a holistic approach to resident wellbeing

About You

  • Qualified Fitness Instructor (Level 3 desirable)
  • Experience working with older adults or special populations
  • Confident, empathetic and motivating
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
  • First Aid qualified (or willing to obtain)
