Role Description

The Fitness & Wellness Expert will provide virtual fitness guidance and wellness support to TherapyMantra clients as part of a multidisciplinary mental health and wellbeing team. This part-time remote role involves leading online group exercise sessions, designing personalized fitness plans, and offering lifestyle coaching aligned with clients’ mental wellness goals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Assessing client fitness levels
  • Integrating exercise physiology principles into safe and effective routines
  • Collaborating with therapists and other care providers when appropriate
  • Educating clients on sustainable health habits
  • Tracking progress using digital tools
  • Responding to client inquiries with high-quality customer service
  • Maintaining accurate records in accordance with platform standards and confidentiality guidelines

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Group Exercise and Fitness Instruction to lead engaging, safe, and inclusive sessions.
  • Knowledge of the Fitness Industry and Exercise Physiology to design evidence-based, goal-oriented programs.
  • Excellent Customer Service abilities to support clients with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication.
  • Relevant certification in fitness, personal training, exercise science, or wellness coaching from a recognized body.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, ideally in digital or hybrid wellness settings.
  • Comfort using online platforms, video tools, and basic data tracking for client sessions and progress monitoring.
  • Ability to collaborate with mental health professionals and adapt fitness plans to varied physical and emotional needs.
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and non-judgmental, inclusive practice.
