Role Description
The Fitted Furniture Sale Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for guiding customers through the process of designing and purchasing fitted wardrobes and furniture solutions. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Meeting clients in the showroom and at their homes
- Conducting measurements and space assessments
- Creating tailored design proposals that reflect client needs and budgets
- Preparing drawings or visualizations
- Explaining product options and finishes
- Providing clear, accurate quotations

The role involves:

- Following up on enquiries
- Managing the sales pipeline
- Coordinating with the production and installation teams to ensure designs are feasible and delivered to agreed timelines
- Consistent customer-focused communication
- Maintaining detailed records of client specifications
- Contributing to the presentation and upkeep of showroom displays
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Furniture Design and Product Design, with the ability to translate client requirements into practical, attractive fitted furniture solutions.
- Experience with Carpentry and Furniture construction principles to ensure designs are structurally sound and manufacturable.
- Knowledge of Interior Design, including space planning, materials, and finishes, to create cohesive designs that complement existing interiors.
- Proficiency with design or CAD software and basic technical drawing skills to produce clear design visuals and layouts.
- Proven sales and customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport, understand client needs, and close sales ethically and effectively.
- Excellent communication, numeracy, and attention to detail, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Previous experience in fitted furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, or residential interiors is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in London, conduct home visits when required, and collaborate effectively with design, production, and installation teams.
