Company Description

Based in Congleton, Cheshire, Senior Bird Bellows was established in 1975 as a family-run operation serving the petro-chemical and gas industries. Since then, we have evolved to become one of the industry leaders in the design, development, and manufacture of pressure duct systems, flexible joints, and insulation for highly regulated industries. We have established customers in aerospace (both civil and military), as well as in the nuclear, oil and gas, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fitter to join our aerospace manufacturing team. Working in a fast-paced production environment, you will play a key role in manufacturing precision components and assemblies that meet the highest quality and safety standards required by the aerospace industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
