The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fixed Asset Accountant to join our Finance team as Regenda is undertaking a major asset accounting and finance systems transformation programme, including the implementation of a new Fixed Asset Register (FAR) scheduled for March 2028.

The Fixed Asset Accountant will be responsible for cleansing, validating and enhancing fixed asset data to ensure a robust and accurate asset base for migration into our new system.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Bringing the existing Fixed Asset Register up to date.
  • Establishing and reconciling a Capital Grant Register.

The role will require close collaboration work with Finance, Assets and Development teams to ensure asset records are complete, auditable and compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The right fit

  • You’re a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or qualified by significant relevant experience.
  • You have experience of component accounting within housing associations.
  • You hold a strong attention to detail and have the ability to investigate complex historic transactions.
  • Familiarity of working on data migration projects and supporting system implementations or transformation projects.
  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced level is preferred).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
