Fixed Asset Verification Accountant

The Fixed Asset verification process is to verify & tag all new purchases of individual tangible moveable assets of GBV £5k or over, within the group estate. The role will also involve as need basis engagement supporting Fixed Asset related process improvements and projects.
This role is initially being offered on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Supporting clinics in the tagging process, to include the tagging of assets, completing the Oracle Apex asset tagging form and photographing assets
- Load all details from the Oracle Apex asset tagging form and photograph into Asset Infinity
- Manage asset disposals and transfers in Asset Infinity
- Add the RFID tag reference to the asset in Oracle
- Review large projects, to ensure only individual assets are tagged
- Support and manage the relationship with Ops/clinics, in-country integration teams, ensuring a smooth & efficient tagging process
- Support the Genpact Management Accountants and GBS Integration Management Accountants, with monthly Variance analysis performed between Oracle and Asset Infinity, to reconcile between the two independent sources
- Send assets tags to clinics & in-country integrations teams, as required
- Engagement in Fixed Asset process improvements and projects

Experience/Qualifications
- Strong academically – educated to degree level and preferred holding a chartered professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or similar).
- Data-driven, with a keen eye for detail – comfortable working with large data sets and manipulating large files.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment – flexibility is key.
- Able to demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- A pragmatic problem-solver who is calm and confident under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work well within the team, and communicate effectively but sympathetically with the clinics.
- Strong team management skills and experience.
