Department Overview
The Fixed Income Division (FID) is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products, Securitized Products, and Municipal Securities. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professionals’ trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.

What will you be doing?
The FXEM division is looking for a highly motivated quantitative strategist at Associate level to help with the automation of the FX STIRT business from the London office. The candidate will focus on developing and enhancing tools to automate and optimize market-making and inventory management across both electronic and voice trading channels, with the objective of improving desk PnL while enhancing our client offering.

- Develop and implement quantitative models to support ePricing, market making, and risk management in FX STIRT products
- Design and build tools to optimize inventory management and improve capital efficiency across trading books
- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and improve trading performance
- Contribute to the development of electronic trading strategies
- Continuously monitor model performance and refine methodologies based on market conditions
- Collaborate with traders to enhance decision-making through data-driven strategies
- Partner with technology teams to productionize models and ensure robustness and scalability while supporting voice trading analytics
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent quantitative skills in data analysis
- Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced idea generator, able to pitch ideas internally and externally
- Familiarity with statistical modelling, regression techniques, and core machine-learning concepts
- Proficiency in Python or another programming language used for data analysis
- Knowledge of Q/KDB+
- Time series analysis
- Experience with electronic trading
- Experience with foreign exchange or Interest Rates markets.
