Role: Data Analytics Architect (Snowflake & dbt Expert)
Location: United Kingdom
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract
We're looking for a highly skilled Data Analytics Architect to serve as the cornerstone of our Go-To-Market (GTM) data platform and accelerate our ability to deliver actionable insights. In this role, you will take full ownership of our Snowflake environment and dbt projects to enhance and maintain our existing technical foundation. You will serve as the strategic bridge between our leadership in North America and our engineering teams in India, translating complex business objectives into high-performing, code-based data architectures. As our primary Snowflake and dbt expert, you will not only maintain our "warehouse-first" strategy but also pioneer the integration of modern AI tools like Claude Code into our development lifecycle to drive unprecedented efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you must be a technical powerhouse who is equally comfortable writing production-grade SQL/Python and presenting data strategy to stakeholders. You are a fast, clear, and independent thinker who thrives on the "get things done" mentality of a high-growth environment. You possess a deep understanding of modern data stack best practices—specifically version-controlled development and end-to-end orchestration—and you are never satisfied with the status quo. You excel at collaborating across time zones, navigating ambiguity without formal authority, and maintaining technical excellence under pressure. You are passionate about automation, detail-oriented in your data modeling, and have superb communication skills to make complex data lineages easy to understand for everyone in the organization.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

As a Data Analytics Architect, you’ll get to:
- Own and Administer Snowflake: Manage the end-to-end Snowflake environment, including performance tuning, RBAC security modeling, cost optimization, user permissions, and compute management.
- Architect dbt Foundations: Lead the development of our dbt project, establishing standards for modeling, testing, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bridge Global Teams: Act as the primary technical point of contact between North American leadership and India-based resources, ensuring seamless requirement translation and project execution across time zones.
- Operationalize AI: Integrate AI-assisted development (Claude Code, LLMs) into the workflow to automate boilerplate tasks and accelerate time-to-value for new data products.
- Transform GTM Data: Replace and enhance the "Warehouse-First" models, centralizing data from Salesforce, product usage, and marketing tools into a unified, clean source of truth.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Establish and own data quality monitoring, observability, and alerting frameworks to ensure business-critical dashboards remain reliable and accurate.
You’ll be a good fit if you have:
- 5-7+ years of experience in Data Analytics Architecture or Data Engineering, with a proven track record of owning a cloud data warehouse at scale.
- Mastery of Snowflake architecture, administration, and performance optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in dbt (Core or Cloud), including experience with macros, packages, and complex DAG management.
- Demonstrated success working within a distributed team, specifically coordinating between Western Europe, North America, and India.
- Fluent in version control (Git), SQL, and Python, with a strong focus on building maintainable, "code-first" data solutions.
- Experience (or high comfort level) using Claude Code and other AI development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Understanding of SaaS metrics and Go-To-Market data flows (Salesforce, Marketo, Revenue Ops) is highly preferred.
- Native or near-native English fluency, with the ability to explain technical debt, architectural trade-offs, and data lineage to non-technical leaders.
