ROLE: Fixed Wire Testing Team Leader

HOURS: 10 Night Shift - every week is a 4-day week

LOCATION: Sellafield (Salary + bonus + travel allowance (in line with the NAECI Agreement)

We're looking for a Fixed Wire Testing Team Leader to lead a Fixed Wire Testing team, acting as the first point of contact for the Fixed Wire Testing Manager and team members while ensuring works are delivered in accordance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for client queries, providing feedback, support, and escalation where appropriate.
  • Ensure effective pre-job briefings, supervision arrangements, workface inspections, quality assurance, and lessons learned are completed throughout team operations.
  • Work closely with the Fixed Wire Testing Manager to schedule planned works, maximize resource utilization, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members, supporting them in reaching their full potential and achieving Sellafield nominations where applicable.
  • Deliver regular team briefings, promote excellent customer service, and maintain strong working relationships with clients and operational teams.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance and Installation (or equivalent).
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within a Fixed Wire Testing environment.
  • Full clean UK driving license.
  • Ability to organize work effectively and liaise with operational teams and the Fixed Wire Testing Manager.
