The Body Shop

When Anita Roddick founded The Body Shop in 1976, she had a vision. Business as a force for good – that’s us. Over 40 years later, we’re proud to be pioneering cruelty-free beauty every step of the way. We’re the original ethical beauty brand. We’ve got a thing for empowering people and enriching our planet. We’re all about keeping it real, in every way possible. Our activist roots remain a huge part of everything we do, from our iconic window posters to our vegetarian products to our infamous campaigns. We’re never afraid to stand up and speak the truth. We like to do things a little differently around here.

The Body Shop is committed to generating positive economic, social and environmental impact. We’re fighting for what we believe in now more than ever. No holding back. Breaking the mould has always come naturally to us, and we need someone who’s not afraid to mix things up.

Your role in a nutshell

As our Flagship Store Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to lead one of our most important retail destinations and play a pivotal role in shaping the experience our customers have with our brand.

This is more than a role focused on day-to-day store management. You’ll be the business owner of your store, with responsibility for driving sustainable commercial growth, developing an exceptional team and creating an inspiring, distinctive customer experience.

Working closely with your Regional Manager and key internal and external stakeholders, you’ll bring together commercial performance, customer experience, people development and operational excellence to deliver outstanding results.

You’ll have the autonomy to identify opportunities, make commercially informed decisions and bring your own leadership style to a high-profile store environment.

More about the role

Own the commercial performance

You’ll take full ownership of your store’s commercial performance, using insight, data and your understanding of the local market to identify opportunities and turn them into action.

  • Own and deliver the store P&L, sales performance and key commercial KPIs.
  • Build and execute a compelling business plan focused on sustainable growth.
  • Analyse performance data and translate insight into clear, commercially effective actions.
  • Identify opportunities within your local market and competitor landscape.
  • Manage costs with rigour, ensuring resource and payroll are aligned to business needs.
  • Maintain strong stock control and ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
