Fleet Administrator - Position Overview

Our client is currently seeking an organised and reliable Fleet Administrator to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day administration of the company fleet, ensuring records are kept accurate and up to date, vehicle documentation is maintained correctly, and all associated fleet activity is processed efficiently.
This role would suit someone with strong administrative skills, good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy working environment.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Maintaining accurate fleet records and vehicle documentation.
- Updating internal systems with vehicle, driver and compliance information.
- Supporting the administration of vehicle servicing, MOTs and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinating with drivers, suppliers, garages and internal teams where required.
- Processing fleet-related paperwork, invoices and documentation.
- Monitoring vehicle-related dates and ensuring required actions are completed on time.
- Assisting with vehicle movements, replacements and general fleet queries.
- Producing reports and maintaining accurate administrative records.
- Supporting the wider transport and operations team with general administration.
- Ensuring all fleet information is recorded accurately and in line with company procedures.

Fleet Administrator - Position Requirements
- Previous experience within administration, fleet, transport, logistics or a similar environment.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Comfortable working with internal systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Confident communicating with drivers, suppliers and internal departments.
- Able to work independently while also supporting the wider team.
- Reliable, organised and proactive approach to work.

Fleet Administrator - Position Remuneration
- Starting salary: £32,000 per annum
- Temp-to-perm position
- Initial 6-month temporary contract, with the opportunity to become permanent thereafter
- Working hours: 08:00 - 16:30
- 30-minute paid break
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Full-time position
