Are you a Chef looking for a great work-life balance with opportunities for career growth?

Stena Line is looking for an experienced chef to join our fleet pool! In this role, you will support our galley teams across the fleet while developing your skills on our ferries. This role has no set location; you will have the opportunity to work on all of our Irish Sea vessels.

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work across different vessels with varying galley setups, adapting to each ship’s pace, size, and specifications.
  • Maintain strict standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with maritime and company regulations, including proper storage, handling, and preparation of food.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, including the safe operation of kitchen equipment.

Who are you?

At Stena Line, your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. Our new chef should be flexible, a team player, and reliable. You must be open to new challenges. You should be approachable and positive, and you should have the ability to connect with people. The successful candidate will have their own drive to deliver results.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
