Description
As a Fleet Controller, you will be part of an established Fleet team responsible for the daily management of the vehicle fleet for the company. You will take a lead in controlling the day to day servicing, defects & breakdowns of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with Vehicle suppliers to ensure all orders are processed in line with agreed SLAs
- Handle vehicle service, defect and breakdown requests following company procedures and guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to internal customers / contracts
- Ensure SLAs are achieved with minimum downtime
- Investigate and respond to Internal customer / External Supplier Queries
- Update fleet management systems
- Assist in general fleet desk duties, providing support when needed for other aspects of the fleet department
Experience and Qualifications
- Problem solving abilities
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Knowledge of workshop practices and charges is an advantage
- Industry knowledge of light & heavy commercial vehicle industry
- Excellent planning, organization and time management skills
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to your work
- Must recognise the importance of working as part of a team to deliver service and operational performance within a safe working environment
- IT skills, Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage
- Previous experience of fleet management software packages would be an advantage (Jaama Key2 in particular)
