Compensation: £30,000 - £32,000 / year

Description

As a Fleet Controller, you will be part of an established Fleet team responsible for the daily management of the vehicle fleet for the company. You will take a lead in controlling the day to day servicing, defects & breakdowns of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Vehicle suppliers to ensure all orders are processed in line with agreed SLA’s
  • Handle vehicle service, defect and breakdown requests following company procedures and guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to internal customers / contracts
  • Ensure SLA’s are achieved with minimum downtime
  • Investigate and respond to Internal customer / External Supplier Queries
  • Update fleet management systems
  • Assist in general fleet desk duties, providing support when needed for other aspects of the fleet department

Experience and Qualifications

  • Problem solving abilities
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Knowledge of workshop practices and charges is an advantage
  • Industry knowledge of light & heavy commercial vehicle industry
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to your work
  • Must recognise the importance of working as part of a team to deliver service and operational performance within a safe working environment
  • IT skills, Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage
  • Previous experience of fleet management software packages would be an advantage (Jaama Key2 in particular)
