Fleet Coordinator Remote/Hybrid

The Role

Tracsis Traffic Data is seeking a proactive and highly organised Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our Site Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong administration, analytical and operational skills to play a key role in managing and developing our company fleet.

In this role you will oversee the day-to-day fleet operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, transport legislation, health and safety requirements, and the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS). You will help drive a strong safety and compliance culture while supporting our continued achievement of FORS Silver accreditation and progression towards Gold status.

What you will do

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Tracsis Traffic Data fleet.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and FORS standards.
  • Support FORS Silver accreditation and contribute to achieving FORS Gold certification.
  • Coordinate with regional teams to maintain vehicle servicing and maintenance standards.
  • Monitor telematics systems and produce driver performance reports.
  • Track and report on fuel usage, vehicle utilisation, supplier performance, hire vehicles, and incidents.
  • Assist with vehicle procurement, specification, and disposal processes.
  • Manage vehicle-related accounts, including congestion charges, tolls, breakdown cover, and road tax.
  • Support insurance claims, repair enquiries, and ensure driver vehicle checks are completed and recorded.
  • Produce fleet performance and cost reports, providing ad hoc operational support as required.

What you'll bring:

  • Quick-thinking and with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Previous experience in fleet, transport, logistics, distribution, or operational administration roles.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative, and workload prioritisation skills, managing competing demands effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and compliance standards.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to identify trends, and produce meaningful reports and insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and honest approach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of fleet management, transport compliance, or FORS standards, with the ability to apply best practices in operational environments.
