The Fleet Driver Liaison Manager
The Fleet Driver Liaison Manager plays a key role in supporting the safe, efficient and compliant operation of our fleet. Acting as the main link between drivers, depot management and service managers, the role is responsible for coordinating driver activities, monitoring vehicle utilisation and availability, supporting incident management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety and transport regulations.
The postholder will deliver driver briefings, support training and performance improvement, maintain accurate fleet records, and work closely with maintenance teams to minimise vehicle downtime. They will also identify opportunities to improve operational processes, customer service and environmental performance.

About You
- Experience in fleet, transport or operational service management
- Strong people management and driver engagement skills
- Good understanding of fleet compliance, health and safety, and transport regulations
- Strong organisational, administrative and IT skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in waste, environmental services or a similar operational environment is desirable
- Full UK driving licence essential; HGV qualifications would be advantageous
- Flexible approach to meet operational demands, including occasional early starts and peak periods
