Fleet, Health and Safety Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Fleet, Health and Safety Coordinator to join us at our Head Office in Castle Donington, Derbyshire.

The Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Fleet, Health and Safety Coordinator to support the delivery of Health, Safety and Fleet activities across the business. This varied role will be responsible for maintaining documentation and communications, supporting and coordinating a range of fleet management activities. The successful candidate will report directly to the Health & Safety Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and distribute a variety of HSE/Fleet communications.
- Review, update and maintain controlled documents, handbooks, policies and procedures.
- Support HSE/Fleet meetings, audits and action tracking, including preparing presentations and minutes.
- Support the development and maintenance of risk assessments, safe operating procedures and training materials.
- Create, update and allocate LMS training courses, toolbox talks and bite-size learning content on Fleet, Health & Safety related topics.
- Coordinate accident and near-miss investigation administration.
- Coordinate fleet administration activities, including vehicle compliance, servicing, MOTs, maintenance scheduling, inspections and breakdown support.
- Support fleet technology platforms, reporting and driver administration.
Hours of work:
- 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday (approx. 8am - 4pm, can be flexible), based at Castle Donington.
- Once trained, you will work one day a week at home
About You:
- Experience in Health & Safety, Fleet Administration or a similar coordination role.
- Ideally, you will hold an IOSH qualification or have previous experience within a Health & Safety, Fleet Administration or Compliance role.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience creating documents, presentations, training materials and reports.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, experience using Visio and PowerPoint would be advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full driving licence required – as some travel may be required.
