About The Role

Role Overview
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Freelance HGV Coaches, Assessors, and Instructors to join our dedicated training team. This role involves delivering high-quality HGV driver coaching and assessments for a variety of clients, with the opportunity to progress into delivering the specialist PRIM 5-Day Coach and Assessor Training.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver HGV driver coaching and on-road assessments across multiple client contracts.
- Provide one-to-one driver coaching and assessments in category B vehicles at Royal Mail Delivery Offices or at BT Openreach sites.
- Adapt training and assessment methods to meet the needs of drivers with varying levels of experience.
- Ensure all training is delivered to the highest professional and safety standards.
- Provide structured, constructive feedback to support driver development.
Requirements

- Proven experience in on-road driver training or assessments (HGV essential).
- Strong communication and coaching skills, both on-road and in classroom settings.
- Willingness to undertake an interview and assessment of your coaching and presenting abilities.
- Ability to give clear, structured feedback and foster learner progression.
- Flexibility to travel to client and depot locations as required.
