About This Role
Are you a Maintenance Controller, Fleet Controller, Service Controller or someone with customer service experience looking for a role where you can make a real difference? As a Fleet Maintenance Controller within our Truck and Trailer Business Unit, you will help keep vehicles and trailers moving by coordinating breakdown support, authorising repairs and keeping customers informed.
- Provide an efficient, customer focused 24-hour, 365-day breakdown service.
- Authorise maintenance and mechanical repairs across trucks, trailers, vans and associated equipment.
- Check maintenance history, warranty information and previous repairs before authorising work.
- Monitor repairs through to completion, ensuring safety, quality and relevant legislation are met.
- Work with repairers, suppliers, customers and internal teams to keep everything moving.
About You
You will be organised, confident communicating with people and comfortable making decisions when things need resolving quickly. Knowledge of vehicle repairs, transport, parts, workshops or call centre environments would be useful, but we are also interested in transferable experience and will provide full training.

- Excellent telephone manner and a customer focused approach.
- Able to think quickly, prioritise effectively and use sound judgement.
- Comfortable working with costs, invoices and financial information accurately.
- Good keyboard skills and confidence using computer systems.
- Willing to participate in flexible shift working once the required knowledge and performance level is achieved.
