Position: Fleet Manager
Location: Halesowen
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
We are recruiting for a Fleet Procurement Manager to support a leading provider of fleet management solutions, delivering exceptional service and innovative vehicle management programmes to businesses across the UK. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Fleet Procurement Manager to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious procurement professional to take ownership of our supplier network, develop strategic partnerships and ensure we continue to deliver outstanding value and service to our customers.
The Main Objective of the Role
Reporting to the senior management team, you will be responsible for managing and developing procurement strategy across all fleet-related services. You will negotiate commercial agreements, build strong supplier relationships and continually review the market to ensure the business remains competitive.
Working closely with the Sales, Operations and Leadership teams, you will play a key role in supporting business growth by securing high-quality services at competitive commercial rates while maintaining excellent supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies across all fleet management services.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with manufacturers, leasing companies and service providers.
- Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing structures and service level agreements.
- Lead commercial negotiations to secure the best value for the business and its customers.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, service reviews and regular performance meetings.
- Identify new suppliers and emerging technologies to enhance our service offering.
- Benchmark products, services and pricing to ensure market competitiveness.
- Manage procurement across:
- Vehicle supply
- Accident management
- Breakdown and roadside assistance
- Vehicle rental
- Fuel card programmes
- Vehicle glass services
- Telematics and vehicle tracking
- Maintenance and repair providers
- Fleet funding and finance solutions
- Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.
- Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to develop customer solutions and support business development.
- Produce procurement reports, supplier analysis and commercial recommendations for senior management.
- Ensure supplier compliance with contractual, operational and quality standards.
- Continuously review procurement processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

About You
We are looking for someone who brings both strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship-building skills.

You will have:
- Significant experience within fleet management, automotive, vehicle leasing or procurement.
- A proven track record of negotiating commercial contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong knowledge of fleet services, vehicle supply and associated products.
- Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to analyse pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Outstanding negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
- Experience of managing multiple supplier relationships simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM or procurement systems.
- A proactive, strategic and customer-focused approach.
