TAKE YOUR CAREER IN A NEW DIRECTION

At Eurostar, we're fuelling the future of rail travel - operating in five countries and sparking new opportunities for travellers. But our trains connect much more than just people and places. They're helping us build a greener, more inclusive future for everyone. Join us and you'll be part of a passionate team which always goes the extra mile.

An exciting opportunity awaits you as Fleet Performance Manager in our Rolling Stock team.

You will be in charge of monitoring and improving the technical performance of the 4 Eurostar fleets (based in Brussels and at our depot in Leyton), by analysing failures, anticipating trends and leading the performance action plan with Engineering, Operations and our partners such as Siemens. In doing so, you will enhance the reliability and availability of our trains, and contribute directly to the punctuality, the number of trains in service and the overall experience of our passengers.

The role can be based in London or Brussels.

We are looking for someone to...

  • Increase the performance of the 4 Eurostar fleets, in terms of both reliability and availability
  • Produce detailed and summary reports (weekly, monthly and annual) on the technical performance of the 4 fleets
  • Carry out, with the team, first-level technical analysis (D+1 / D+7 reports) to immediately identify trends or alerts and anticipate failures
  • Manage the single performance reporting tool
  • Define and lead the Rolling Stock department's Performance action plan for each of the 4 fleets
  • Bring to the surface the priority issues of the Engineering team (or of other departments, such as Supply Chain)
  • Introduce new methodologies, such as FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System)
  • Manage all agreed actions through to implementation
  • Measure the effectiveness of the actions implemented
  • Contribute to a positive safety culture
  • Take responsibility for your own safety and that of others in all activities carried out as part of your duties
  • Manage safety for your team and help the company build a positive health and safety culture
  • Deliver the actions of the safety action plan assigned to you
  • Be the point of entry for the Operations department
  • Take part in the analysis and coding of operating incidents with Operations, and ensure the quality of the indicator attributable to Rolling Stock
  • Provide the input needed for joint analyses with infrastructure managers and take part in them, with the relevant experts where necessary
  • Contribute to defining specific operating needs (e.g. adapted transport plans for sporting events, festivals, etc.) and help implement them
  • Ensure the fair allocation of "allowable failures" to Eurostar under the TSSSA contract with Siemens
  • Represent Eurostar (EIL) at the monthly performance meeting with Siemens

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
