Job Title: Fleet Safety & Compliance Trainer

Location: 38/39 Juliette Way, Purfleet Industrial Park, Purfleet RM15 4YA

Salary: £40,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Working Hours: 42.5 Monday-Friday

The Company:

Recorra is a leading circular economy company, providing services for recycling, data destruction and office supplies in London and the South East. We are born environmentalists, formed by Friends of the Earth in 1988 and now operating as an independent commercial organisation.

We are an ethical and fast-growing company with a team of exceptional people and are looking for someone to join us during an exciting period of change and growth. The role provides the opportunity for you to use your skills to make a difference within a friendly, dynamic and forward-thinking company. The culture is energetic, and there will be many opportunities for you to make a substantial contribution to the business.

The Role:

At Recorra, our drivers play a vital role in delivering reliable, high-quality waste and recycling services to our customers every day. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Fleet Safety & Compliance Trainer to help shape, support, and develop our driver workforce.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine your technical LGV expertise with coaching and mentoring skills to ensure our drivers are safe, compliant, and confident in their roles. You will play a key part in onboarding new starters, maintaining high standards across our operations, and supporting continuous improvement across our fleet.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
