Job Description

Navantia UK is looking for an experienced Fleet Solid Support Product Security Lead to take ownership of product security delivery across the FSS Programme.

This is a key leadership role focused on defining, implementing, and assuring the security strategy for a major UK maritime defence programme.

You’ll lead the delivery of secure-by-design solutions across the ship platform and IT/OT architecture, ensuring cyber security, information assurance, physical security, and product security requirements are embedded throughout the vessel lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading product security engagement with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams

  • Managing product security risks, contract change responses, vulnerabilities, and remediation activity
  • Coordinating project Security Owners across the nine Targets of Assurance
  • Overseeing TEMPEST, Factory Security Testing, asset database delivery, and enabling security infrastructure
  • Representing Navantia UK at Security Working Groups and supporting wider programme governance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
