Fleet Transport & Delivery Planner

Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: OTE £37,500 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break)

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and reliable Fleet Transport & Delivery Planner to join our Fleet department at Holdcroft Motor Group.

You will be responsible for planning and coordinating vehicle movements and deliveries, making sure vehicles get to the right place at the right time.

This is a busy role where good organisation, communication, and strong geographical knowledge are essential.

Your Role:

  • Plan and organise vehicle deliveries and transport movements
  • Coordinate vehicle collections and deliveries
  • Keep customers and internal teams updated on delivery times
  • Track vehicles and deal with any delays or issues
  • Work closely with drivers, dealerships, and the Transport Manager
  • Ensure transport schedules are accurate and kept up to date
  • Help improve transport processes and efficiency
  • Complete transport records and reports accurately

About You:

  • Previous experience in transport planning, logistics, or a similar role
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with customers, drivers, and colleagues
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Confident using computer systems
  • Automotive experience would be an advantage
