Fleet Vehicle Technician - Technology-Enabled Logistics Operation | North West London
£28,000–£30,000 Basic Salary + excellent benefits
This is an opportunity to take your technical skills into a fast-moving, technology-led logistics environment where vehicle reliability directly supports a nationwide delivery operation.
You’ll join the in-house workshop team of an established logistics business with more than 20 years’ experience. Its services span urgent same-day deliveries, overnight distribution, international logistics, warehousing and fulfilment, all supported by technology that provides exceptional control and visibility.
Unlike a traditional retail garage position, your focus will be on keeping an operational fleet safe, reliable and ready for the road. You’ll solve real-world technical problems, take ownership of your work and see the immediate impact you have on the wider business.

Working from the company’s North West London operation, you’ll maintain and repair a varied fleet of vehicles. From routine servicing and safety inspections to diagnostics and fault resolution, you’ll help maximise vehicle availability while maintaining consistently high standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
- Completing repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Carrying out scheduled inspections and vehicle safety checks.
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Working closely with the Workshop Manager to prioritise workload.
- Completing job cards and technical documentation accurately.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Ensuring all work meets company, industry and health and safety standards.

You’ll ideally bring:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Fleet Technician.
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic ability.
- Good knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Confidence using workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
- The ability to interpret diagnostic information accurately.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to work independently.
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to deliver quality work within operational deadlines.
- Clear communication and a collaborative attitude.
- A full, valid UK driving licence.
