Flexographic Print Operator

At Eurostampa UK, we produce high-quality labels for leading global brands across the wine, spirits, food and luxury packaging sectors. As part of our continued growth and investment in state-of-the-art production facilities, we are looking for an experienced Flexographic Print Operator to join our skilled manufacturing team in Cumbernauld.

The Role
As a Flexographic Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining designated printing presses, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You'll play a key role in achieving production targets, reducing waste, supporting colleagues, and driving continuous improvement within the PSL Print Department.
What You'll Be Doing
Production & Quality
- Operating flexographic printing presses in line with job specifications and production schedules.
- Producing high-quality labels to exact customer requirements.
- Monitoring print quality throughout production runs and carrying out quality inspections.
- Troubleshooting print and production issues to minimise downtime.
- Maintaining accurate production and quality records.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO standards and company procedures.

Continuous Improvement
- Achieve production, quality and waste reduction targets.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
- Support initiatives that enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
Team Support
- Provide guidance and support to Print Assistants and colleagues.
- Share knowledge and best practice across the department.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
Equipment Maintenance
- Carry out routine press care and planned maintenance activities.
- Record maintenance activity accurately.
- Report equipment issues promptly to minimise production disruption.
Health & Safety
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
- Support our commitment to quality, environmental standards and sustainability.

What We're Looking For
We're Keen To Hear From Candidates Who Have
- Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses.
- Strong understanding of print quality standards and production processes.
- Experience completing press set-ups, changeovers and wash-ups.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality focus.
- A proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to health, safety and continuous improvement.
