Senior Flexographic Printer

Up to £47,370.96 per annum DOE+ discretionary joining bonus up to £3,000 + discretionary annual bonus scheme

Location: ProAmpac Lincoln, Horncastle Lane

Contract: Permanent, full time

Shift Pattern: Continental 12-hour shifts (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Days Off)

At ProAmpac Lincoln, we're investing in our people, equipment and future. Due to continued growth, we're looking for skilled Senior Flexographic Printers to join our established print team and help us deliver high-quality flexible packaging for some of the world's best-known brands.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment, operating advanced 8-colour flexographic printing presses while earning a competitive salary of up to £47,370.96 per annum, benefiting from a potential joining incentive of up to £3,000, bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

We may also be able to offer visa sponsorship for suitable candidates, subject to eligibility requirements and business needs.

About the role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and monitoring 8-colour flexographic printing presses to ensure production targets, quality standards and customer expectations are consistently achieved.

You'll play a key role in maintaining print quality, maximising machine efficiency and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the department.

Key responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating flexographic printing presses
  • Monitoring print quality and making adjustments as required
  • Managing inks, print specifications and colour consistency
  • Recording production and quality data accurately
  • Minimising waste and downtime
  • Supporting the training and development of colleagues
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
  • Contributing to continuous improvement activities

What we're looking for

  • Experience operating Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) presses
  • Experience operating Comexi presses
  • Experience working within flexible packaging or a manufacturing environment

Our continental shift pattern offers an excellent work-life balance:

  • 2 x Day Shifts (7:00am - 7:00pm)
  • 2 x Night Shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am)
  • Followed by 4 Days Off
