Flight Checker - Leeds
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Flight Checker to work with a leading catering company in Leeds. This role is essential for ensuring that prepared meals meet strict menu specifications and are ready for uplift on time.
Shift Patterns:
- 4 in 2 off
Pay Rates:
- 13.51 GBP hourly
Essential Requirements for Flight Checker:
- GCSE levels
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to undertake a DBS check
- 5 years of checkable referencing history
Desirable Requirements for Flight Checker:
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in the food industry
- Working knowledge of Basic Hygiene
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, or stores environment
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Good English and numeracy skills
- Attention to detail and team-oriented
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Basic IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good oral and written communication skills

Role Responsibilities for Flight Checker:
- Verify prepared meals against menu specifications
- Manage special and last-minute requests
- Ensure correct quantities are ready for uplift
- Complete security checks in line with DFT requirements
- Report any operational delays
